We are one of South Florida’s largest logistics providers, BOS Global offers integrated transport, cargo, warehouse, and workspace rental services. We are looking for a seasoned and experiences container drayage dispatcher.

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in Miami market.

    Fluent in both, English and Spanish

    Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

    Obsess over the service needs of our customers and transportation partners

Key responsibilities

  • Communicate with the customers to understand their request and help them to sort out any doubts that they may have about the load (educate the customer in a friendly manner).

  • Communicate effectively with the clients for details that may change the price or capacity to do the load.

  • Respond to rate requests or shipment inquiries via e-mail within 15 minutes of email receipt and keep client engaged.

  • Advise the customers to send the DO’s with at least 1 week in advance to guarantee a flawless operation

  • Input the order on Minayla (internal system) with accuracy and double checking the information to avoid further issues

  • Make sure to maintain a clear and transparent communication via e-mail about possible extra charges before and after they occur

  • Communicate with the shipper via email after every phone call summarizing discussion to ensure no discrepancies occur

  • Pro-actively inform the clients every time an event occurs that might affect their load.

  • Report and escalate any issues that arise that you cannot solve by yourself immediately to the Terminal Manager.

Container Dispatcher

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping operations with drivers, suppliers and receiving customers.

  • Work with company drivers or other carriers to find available drivers to cover loads of freight.

  • Schedule truck arrivals for product pickup and delivery and tracks the progress of transit to ensure on-time deliveries.

  • Work with trucking company customers to record freight orders and resolve billing issues.

  • Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges

  • Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement

Accounting Associate

About the role

The Accounting Associate will manage the proper invoicing within standard policies reflective of the customers’ requirements. He/She shall work with any and all personnel to assure timely and accurate payments, invoicing, and resolve outstanding payments through communication with vendors and clients. The Accounting Associate will be required to interface with customers, BOS Global’ Operations and with the CEO and Executive team.

What you’ll do

  • Assure timely collection of monies due to corporation in a timely manner.

  • Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards.

  • Assure timely and accurate invoicing.

  • Negotiate with clients to collect payment on outstanding invoices.

  • Conduct credit checks on all customer, establish and manage limits.

  • Meets accounts receivable operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews.

  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

  • Resolve problems, identify system improvements, and make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures.

  • Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments.

  • Perform month-end analytics and closing processes timely and accurately.

  • Assists the CEO and executive team with special projects.

  • Preparation of month-end, quarterly and annual reports.

About you

  • At least 2 years accounting/financial analysis experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

  • At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks is required

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime when needed

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently.

  • Ability to accurately process numerical data with accuracy.

  • Customer service focus.

  • Evidence of achieving goals with a low level of supervision. Consider yourself a self-starter.
